RBI asks banks to create special clearing window for government accounts on March 31, 2020

RBI has been decided to conduct a Special Clearing exclusively for Government cheques at all clearing houses across the country on March 31, 2020. Therefore, a special clearing will be conducted on March 31, 2018, at all clearing houses across the country to facilitate accounting of all government transactions for the current financial year 2017-18 that ends this month.
