Tied Up Grants – Whether Income?

Many Public Charitable organizations (herein referred to as “Trust”) receive sums in the nature of Grant for specific purposes from various Government, non-Government, foreign institutions, etc. Such types of Grants are popularly known as “Tied up or Restricted Grants” which if comes bring in themselves some condition on its application.
