Income-tax disputes consume copious amount of time, energy and resources both on the part of the Government as well as taxpayers. Thus, in order to provide resolution to pending tax disputes, the Government enacted the Direct Tax Vivad se Vishwas Act, 2020 (‘the DTVSV Act’).
