Tax Dept. conducts search in West Bengal & Kerala

The Income Tax Department has carried out searches action in case of one prominent coal trader of West Bengal and a well-known self-styled evangelist of Thiruvalla in Kerala and his group. The Companies run coal trader has held bogus investments in unquoted equity of around Rs. 150 crores. Further, the Kolkata based group operate 30 trusts which exits only on paper.
